What SPEC Supplies

Instead of a single unit, the facility is divided into transportable modules that are engineered, fabricated and assembled in SPEC facilities, with testing carried out where required by project scope, then shipped for site installation.

How Modular Delivery Works

Assembled before shipment

Most of the equipment can be assembled and tested in SPEC facilities before shipment, where required by project scope.

Transport-led sizing

Road, port and lifting limits between the fabrication facility and site set the maximum module size before layout begins.

ASME Section VIII fabrication

Pressure equipment fabricated to ASME Section VIII, with in-house rolling, automatic welding and inspection under SPEC's quality management system.

Conceptual study and FEED

Front-end definition before detailed engineering, so the process configuration is settled early.

Multi-discipline engineering

Process, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation engineering, all in-house.

Reduced site time

Modularisation can reduce field installation effort where transport, lifting and site interfaces allow.

Storage tanks

API 650 storage tanks supplied alongside the process modules where the facility requires them.

Commissioning support

Where included in scope, field engineers support hook-up, start-up and performance testing.

Inspection and test records

Inspection and test documentation is compiled for each module before shipment.
