Equipment
SPEC engineers and fabricates amine sweetening and dehydration systems that bring produced gas to sales or process specification. Compression systems are configured for pressure, transport and process requirements.
Every system is sized from your gas analysis.

Each system is designed to your feed composition and product specification rather than selected from a fixed range.
Assembled and tested in SPEC facilities where required by project scope, which can reduce site installation and commissioning effort.
Pressure vessels designed and built to ASME Section VIII, with welding, inspection and testing under SPEC's ISO 9001 quality management system.
Amine systems are modelled in process simulation software to confirm the design against its specification before fabrication.
Contact internals selected for the absorber duty, balancing efficiency against pressure drop and turndown.
Rich amine is stripped of acid gas and returned to the absorber, so the system runs continuously rather than relying on batch solvent replacement.
Dehydration route chosen against the required water dew point and the downstream process.
PLC-based control is available in place of standalone pneumatic instrumentation.
The reboiler heat source is selected to suit site utilities, with a hot oil system available as an option.
Applications
Acid gas removal and dehydration ahead of further processing, sized to the plant throughput. At the Salsabil gas field in Pakistan, SPEC supplied two 30 MMSCFD amine sweetening trains and two 30 MMSCFD glycol dehydration trains.

Weight, footprint and lift limits govern the design, so systems are arranged within the deck envelope and the lifting plan.

Fuel gas and process gas conditioning inside an existing refinery, where tie-in points and shutdown windows shape the design.
